CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY |
|
Ledger realizes
its corporate social responsibility by donating 10%
of our annual revenue to multiple charitable causes.
But that is only the beginning; the company’s
founder is heavily involved in non-profit
activities. He found UMANG Library & Research Centre
for the Hearing Impaired in 2000. It is one of the
only research centers that develops materials such
as books and media for the hearing impaired. The
centre also trains nurses and health professionals
on how to detect loss of hearing in newborn infants.
Ledger also helped found the basis of several organizations whose sole purpose of existing is to provide not-profit activities with funding. Shraddha Creations & Vasant Vatika farms located in rural India donate 50% of their yearly income directly to charity. The rest of the money is spent on maintaining upkeep of the factories and paying the less fortunate employees of the factories.
Ledger realizes the importance of active social
participation and supports worthy organizations. If
you would like your non-profit organization to be
considered as one of Ledger’s benefactors, please
contact us at community@ledgerit.com .
